A new post brings with it a change of season (man thats gone fast!)

Now while this may not be so hugely noticeable if you are lucky enough like me to live in a land of perpetual Summer. For some of our friends there is a marked difference in seasons and Autumn has descended with some decidedly chilly weather.

So what does this mean for those beloved summer wardrobe items that you can’t bear to pack away?  

For most items of course – its just time to suck it up and put the bikini and little shorts away. BUT there is a chance to change up some of our favourite Summer outfits with a little Autumn upgrade.

Take for example this cute little number. There are a couple of options here to still wear your favourite dress without freezing.

Option 1: add these items-

The key to upgrading your fav Summer outfit successfully is to choose colours (or neutrals) that will complement the summer pieces. (note the pop of purple converse to highlight the purple in the dress fabric).

The biggest tip is ultimately to wear what makes you feel good. Don’t be afraid to mix and match and experiment a bit. The single most important tip for carrying off an outfit is CONFIDENCE… When you feel good in your clothing
